In a fresh trouble for former BJP president Nitin Gadkari, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has filed a case against him for allegedly threatening I-T officials probing the case of dubious funding to a company- Purti Power and Sugar Limited- promoted by him. The development came days after IRS association demanded an unconditional apology from the former BJP president saying that his threat was aimed at hampering fair probe. Earlier on January 24 in Nagpur, a day after he demitted office as BJP president, Gadkari had sought to make it clear to Income Tax officials probing financial transactions of the Purti group that nobody would save them if BJP returns to power at the Centre.
